Opened in 2015, 2nd tallest cable stay bridge in Poland.
Initially, the company is focusing its efforts on Warsaw and on Rzeszow. Warsaw, of course, is the capital and financial hub. Rzeszow has the honor of being Buffalo, New York's Sister City. Under the leadership of the late Mayor of Buffalo Stanley M. Makowski, a Sister City relationship was established in 1976. Many cultural, business, political, and charitable activities have been conducted over the years between the two cities. Jim Serafin served as a Director for 10 years. The Seal of the City of Buffalo is affixed to the City Hall located in the town square.
In 2009 Mr. Serafin became President of the organization and remains to this day. Strong ties have been forged with the Mayor of Rzeszow to continue to develop business and cultural programs. Ties are also expanding to the various Departments of the University of Rzeszow.
The initial efforts have focused on coordinating and collaborating with organizations in both cities where mutual interests can be further developed. As an example, a cooperative agreement was developed between the Erie County Bar Association and the Okregowa Rada Adwokacka w Rzeszowie.
